Who We Are

Arpan Foundation is a Thane based non-profit organisation, striving to help the underprivileged,troubled & weaker sections of the community to lead a dignified life in order to build a powerful & viable society. Established in the year 2012, Arpan is not just about contributing towards upliftment of the underprivileged but also associating ourselves with the cause & being an integral part of the solution. We are on a mission to build a society where each individual takes up the responsibility for the underprivileged & also encourages people to provide aid in uplifting the weaker sections through individual and collective actions. Our enthusiastic team,keen on bringing a meaningful difference to lives & spreading smiles, toils hard towards creating social awareness about several important issues of the society like educating the masses about the need of educating girls, the importance of giving equal opportunities to men and women, etc just to name a few. We aim to build a healthy environment where every human being can flourish peacefully their well being is taken care of and also dream of a society which strives to help each other & enhance lives of each other.

We at Arpan, believe in the philosophy of ‘Collective Efforts for Impactful Change.’ Our core strategy for conquering challenges is based on 6 essential steps.
  • Identifying and analysing the root cause of problem

    We believe to find solutions for any problem, it is paramount to first reach the root cause of the problem, only then would we be able to eliminate it.a

  • Finding the best solution

    Once we reach at the root cause of problem, we brainstorm several strategies and plans that would alleviate the problem. Depending on the feasibility and what suits the problem the best, we decide on the best solution.

  • Campaigning

    One of the most essential steps in overcoming any challenge is engaging and mobilizing people. We believe it is very important to have support of the masses in order to win over every problem, as it is rightly said – “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”

  • Identifying best associates

    When we have support by a majority and a rock-solid plan to conquer the challenges, we look for potential partners to associate with. Partners who can scale up the overall impact of the plan, collaborations that would face any challenge that comes our way.

  • Implementing the campaign

    The most crucial and the most essential step is finally executing the plan and delivering our best to make sure we get the desired outcome. This is the time for us to put our heart and souls in the work we are doing in order to get incredible results.

  • Performing an impact assessment of the Campaign

    Once the campaign is executed and the work is done, it is our responsibility to keep following up and examine the impact of the campaign. We believe it is our duty to assess how the campaign has worked out and whether the problem has been solved.

Several people from the underprivileged community in India are deprived of their basic rights. They are unable to complete their education, are victims of abuse and forced to work as labours from a very young age. Arpan has always strived to tackle and eliminate these social issues and an inevitable role in this is played by our volunteers at Arpan.

At Arpan, we always dwell on the philosophy of contributing as well as associating with the cause. Donation does not necessarily has to be in the form of money, you can also contribute by donating your clothes, books, toys or in any other form you wish to contribute .

You can join us in the cause by volunteering for the campaigns that Arpan runs and contribute in enhancing the lives of the underprivileged.
